May depart
According to Fabrizio Romano, Sancho has accompanied United’s squad to Brighton, but he has not been selected to either participate in the game from the beginning or be a substitute on the bench. Possibly, he may depart from the club prior to the conclusion of the transfer window, after having been on loan at Borussia Dortmund last season. Manager Erik ten Hag has disclosed that there are still unresolved “issues” among his team.
Sancho was excluded from ten Hag’s squad for their first match against Fulham, even though he had appeared as a substitute in the Community Shield match against Manchester City. The manager of the Red Devils has previously stated that players who are not selected “must cope with it”. However, the former England star has been rumoured to be considering a move to Juventus and may potentially explore the possibility of leaving before the summer transfer window concludes.
Ten Hag stated: “I was faced with a decision to make.” We encountered certain difficulties and want a complete team. He is part of the group and must vie for his position.
Sancho’s next chance to participate will be on Sunday when United face Liverpool. It is uncertain whether he will still be included in United’s records at that time.
