England fans want one player dropped after performance vs Senegal and have already named his replacement

Fans were unimpressed with Thomas Tuchel’s team’s performance, with one play receiving the most criticism.

England fans believe a player should be dismissed after his performance in Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat to Senegal, and they have already picked a replacement.

England come into tonight’s encounter at the City Ground after a 1-0 win over Andorra in Barcelona on Saturday.

Thomas Tuchel played a much-changed lineup with ten new faces, with only Harry Kane starting the triumph over Andorra.

Earlier this week, the German pushed his team to play freely.

“I see us train with a smile, but not play with a smile,” Tuchel told reporters.

“We definitely need to improve. We need to improve our relationships, support, and interactions within the group.

“I think we are too isolated on the pitch. We haven’t clicked yet.

“We have a lot of positives to take away in training, and in the sessions I see a lot of it, and it will obviously take a little bit to translate it to the pitch.”

Kane capitalized on Edouard Mendy’s blunder seven minutes in, and things got off to a good start.

On 40 minutes, Kyle Walker was caught sleeping, and Crystal Palace winger Ismaïla Sarr scored with ease.

On 62 minutes, Habib Diarra gave Senegal the lead, shocking the City Ground into stillness.

With ten minutes remaining, substitute Jude Bellingham thought he had equalised, but his shot was ruled off after referee Stephanie Frappart was ordered to the monitor.

Senegal’s third goal, scored by Cheikh Sabaly on 93 minutes, sealed the victory.

Fans at home were quick to point out one player they felt was not performing to the standards of an England international.

A single person commented: “It’s terrifying to think Anthony Gordon is picked for England when he’s not even the best left-sided forward player for Newcastle.”

A second added, “Anthony Gordon appears to be a non-league player. “Shocking performance.”

While a third wrote, “I never understood the Anthony Gordon hype and now I feel justified.”

A fourth person responded: “Anthony Gordon is absolutely awful, same type of situation as Foden’s always been, doesn’t matter how well he plays at club level, will never do it for England, should be nowhere near the lineup.”

Another proposed that he be replaced by a Premier League player, writing, “Don’t forget Jarrod Bowen either. It’s ridiculous that he isn’t on the squad.
