Arsenal ready to hijack signing of goal-per-game striker after exit request made and Chelsea pull out

A striker who scored thirty goals in thirty games the previous season has requested to leave his present team, and rumours have it that Arsenal is hoping to swoop in on a move after Chelsea withdrew from the competition.

During his rookie campaign at the Emirates, Kai Havertz divided opinion. After being used as the centre forward after Christmas, the Germany international had an incredible run of form despite struggling in the first part of the season.

Havertz finished the season with eight goals in the 11 league games he started up front, but Arsenal is still looking for a new striker.

Benjamin Sesko was initially considered for a contract by the Gunners before the Slovenian agreed to terms with RB Leipzig.

To mention just three, Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, and Alexander Isak are among the others who have come to Arsenal’s attention.

But Serhou Guirassy, the Stuttgart striker, is now a target for Arsenal, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany.

Objective apparatus Guirassy is inexpensively available.
At 28, Guirassy is older than most of the players that sporting director Edu has signed recently for the Emirates.

But with a meagre €17.5 million/£15 million release clause in Guirassy’s Stuttgart contract, a deal might be too good to pass up.

Plettenberg also disclosed that the attacker has told Stuttgart he wants to join a different team this summer.

“Serhou Guirassy has decided to leave Stuttgart!!!” the reporter wrote on X. Stuttgart has been notified [of Guirassy’s decision].

Plettenberg went on to say that Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Arsenal are in the running for the clubs that are hovering. Chelsea is out.

Chelsea is looking for a new centre forward this summer, just like Arsenal. But in Guirassy’s case at least, it seems the Blues won’t play a big role.

from in order to win the race, Arsenal will need to swiftly defeat their main rival, Borussia Dortmund, in a trade that is everything from simple.

The race between Arsenal and Dortmund starts.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Dortmund is currently the favourite, saying the team has outperformed all other interested parties.

Romano stated that “Borussia Dortmund keeps working on the Guirassy deal with confidence to make it happen soon.”

“BVB are still the favourites to sign Serhou by activating his €17.5 million release clause, but we’re still awaiting some crucial steps.”

It is now quite evident that Guirassy wants to leave the team, as evidenced by his request to leave. The release clause’s existence also renders Stuttgart helpless to stop it from being activated by the buying side.

Now, everyone will be watching to see if Arsenal picks up speed in their pursuit. The clock is running out for Arsenal to pursue a deal, while Dortmund is moving quickly towards one of their own.
