Two years ago, Matheus Cunha was linked to Manchester United, and now the Brazilian star is the main attraction.

In an attempt to bolster their offensive line, the Red Devils are willing to pay a high salary to sign the Samba forward from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Mirror exclusively revealed that Man Utd is interested in signing Cunha, who is estimated to be worth £60 million.

Currently making about £60,000 a week, the Old Trafford team is willing to double the South American striker’s pay.

In order to sign Cunha from Wolves, Man Utd is willing to agree to a contract worth £6.2 million annually, or £120,000 per week.

The record English champions are reportedly trying to entice Kudus away from West Ham. The Ghanaian international is being watched by Liverpool and previously worked for Ten Hag at Ajax.

Cunha had a successful season in the Premier League the previous year. He made 29 starts and had a direct hand in 19 goals.

He made 36 appearances overall for the Molineux team across all competitions, contributing 8 assists and 14 goals.

Despite making 11 appearances for the senior Brazilian team thus far, the former Atletico Madrid forward has not been included in the squad for the forthcoming Copa America.

In addition to playing as the number nine, he has shown success as a central attacking midfielder and secondary striker.

Man Utd’s striking group is shallow and lacking in quality. Should they accept a £6.2 million annual contract to bring in Matheus Cunha?
