David Beckham names the greatest player he ever played alongside as Man Utd teammates snubbed

When David Beckham, a legend for England, was asked to name the best player he has ever played with, he chose not to mention his former teammates at Manchester United.

Over the course of his illustrious 21-year career, Beckham was a member of some of the most accomplished players in the history of the sport, and he played for some of the most successful teams in the world.

Beckham began his professional career with Manchester United. Subsequently, he joined Real Madrid, one of the most successful teams in La Liga. Beckham went on to play for AC Milan, LA Galaxy, and Paris Saint-Germain.

The question was posed to Beckham, who had previously played alongside players such as Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Zinedine Zidane. He was asked to name the player who was the best he had ever played alongside.

David Beckham was asked by his former United teammate and close friend, Gary Neville, to name just one player as the best player he has ever played with. This question was posed to Beckham while he was appearing on an episode of Gary Neville’s The Overlap.

In response, he said, “With the exception of you, Zidane, I’ve never ever played with a better player.”

Beckham and Zidane, a legendary player from France, were teammates at Real Madrid for three years. During that time, they participated in 102 matches together and won the Supercopa de Espana when they were both playing at the Bernabeu.

After a lengthy and successful career spanning 17 years, Zidane decided to retire from the sport of professional football just one year before Beckham left to join LA Galaxy.

The following year, in the year 2020, Beckham expressed his affection for his former teammate by writing about the event in an Instagram post.

“It was one of the most memorable experiences of my career to be able to line up with Zizou as a teammate,” he wrote. “It was a very fortunate opportunity to have competed against Zizou.” When he played his final game fourteen years ago today, this moment was not only emotional for him and us, but it was also emotional for the entire world. Thank you very much, my friend.

After naming Zidane as the best player he has ever played with, Beckham went on to bypass all of his former teammates at Manchester United, despite the fact that he had the most successful years of his career at Old Trafford for United.

During his time with Manchester United, the English international won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the Champions League. His legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, was responsible for all of these accomplishments.

On the other hand, Beckham did mention Sir Bobby Charlton, a legendary player for Manchester United, as the one player from the past he would have liked to have played with. He said, “He was my dad’s hero, which is why my middle name is Robert.” Therefore, it would have been a dream come true for me to have played with Sir Bobby.
