Following his wife Victoria’s social media post, David Beckham was admitted to the hospital due to “unbearable pain.” After a brief stint at Paris Saint-Germain in France, the Englishman resigned from football in 2013, but he has continued to be active in the sport for the past 12 years.
In 1994, he made his professional debut for the Red Devils after rising through the ranks at Manchester United. He quickly rose to prominence as one of the greatest wingers in English football history, known for his amazing set-pieces and crossing skills. During his nine years and 394 appearances with the United first team, Beckham won almost everything there was to win.
He moved on to Real Madrid following a falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson, and before retiring, he played for Los Blancos, LA Galaxy, AC Milan, and PSG. He is the owner of the MLS team Inter Miami and has continued to be at the forefront of American football rather than fading into obscurity. Beckham appeared to be doing well after retirement after receiving his knighthood, but he has now been admitted to the hospital.

Players don’t have to deal with those who aren’t quite as serious. When Beckham hurt his wrist playing for England against South Africa in 2003, such was the situation. Yes, he sustained the injuries twenty-two years ago, but he never fully recovered. He sustained the injury as a result of an awkward collision with Thabang Molefe of South Africa during the competition.
It has been causing him “unbearable pain” for the past 22 years, and according to The Sun, he has been admitted to the hospital to cope with it. To finally have his injury healed, the 50-year-old had surgery. As David recovers, his wife Victoria even posted a picture of Beckham in the hospital on Instagram Stories.
Speaking to The Sun, a source stated:
Even though David had been in pain for years, he didn’t give it any thought. He simply continued till it got intolerable in recent months. After several years, he was called in to finally fix the problem after a regular scan revealed that the pin that was supposed to disintegrate hadn’t.
After the procedure, Victoria was by his bedside, and everything went smoothly. He’s feeling very upbeat.
