Cristiano Ronaldo ‘set to create history’ with never-before-seen transfer that would see him leave Al Nassr for one month

According to reports, despite the uncertainties surrounding his future at Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo is just one step away from finalizing a transfer that has never been seen before.

After his final game of the season, the 40-year-old seemed to hint that he would be departing Al Nassr, where his contract expires at the end of this month.

“This chapter is over,” he wrote on social media on Monday. The narrative? It is still in progress. Thank you to everyone.

Earlier this month, Marca revealed that Al Nassr was prepared to extend Ronaldo’s contract by two years, but the offer had not yet been signed and was later rescinded.

The only Saudi club participating in the new four-year competition is rival Al Hilal, and the Saudi Pro League team has not qualified for this summer’s Club World Cup.

Ben Jacobs claims that Ronaldo may now execute a shocking move on previously unseen terms.

According to him, Ronaldo is still being offered a contract, but it might include the 40-year-old joining Al Hilal on a one-month loan to play in the Club World Cup alone.

Therefore, Ronaldo could theoretically agree to a deal in which he plays for Al Hilal for a month before opting not to extend at Al Nassr and departing as a free agent, which is reportedly one of the options.

“At this time, it is unclear whether the Portugal legend is ‘open’ to such a move,” Jacobs says.

Last week, FIFA president Gianni Infantino made an unconventional request: clubs interested in “hiring” Ronaldo for the Club World Cup should come forward.

“Ronaldo might play for one of the teams as well at the Club World Cup,” he said to streamer iShowSpeed.

“There are discussions with some clubs, so if any club is watching and is interested in hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup… who knows, who knows.”
