Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t hesitate when naming the ‘best atmosphere’ he’s played in during legendary career

Even though it might not be what you would expect, Cristiano Ronaldo has already revealed the environment that he considers to be the best he has ever played in during his legendary career.

During his trophy-filled playing career, Ronaldo, who is now 40 years old, has played for some of the most illustrious clubs in Europe, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He is currently playing for Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club.

During his time in Europe, he had the opportunity to play at a number of legendary stadiums, including Old Trafford played by Manchester United, Anfield played by Liverpool, Santiago Bernabeu played by Real Madrid, and Camp Nou played by Barcelona. However, when asked to name the stadium that represented the best atmosphere he had ever experienced, he did not mention any of these stadiums.

On the other hand, he did disclose that for him, scoring at Barca’s home stadium was more enjoyable than scoring at the Bernabeu.

In an interview with El Chiringuito earlier this year, Ronaldo had the following to say: “I was on top.”

Despite the fact that they whistled at me, I did not care about the insults. My sole thought was about scoring and putting an end to those individuals’ utterances. It was more enjoyable for me to score goals at Camp Nou than it was at the Bernabeu.

Nevertheless, he named another European stadium as the one that produced the best atmosphere, and that stadium was Celtic Park, also known as Parkhead. Celtic Park is the home of Celtic football club.

Using Celtic’s official website, Ronaldo expressed his admiration for the fans of the Celtics.

“Playing there is always a wonderful experience.”

In his time with Manchester United, the Portuguese player made two appearances at Celtic Park. In 2006, his first visit resulted in a loss for the home team as a result of a free kick taken by Shunsuke Nakamura, which resulted in the home team gaining a 1-0 victory.

The following year, in 2008, he participated in another match at the stadium, and this time the match ended with a score of 1-1.

In addition, he is not the first football legend to ever express his admiration for the stadium that is located in Glasgow.

“Anyone going to Celtic Park now is saying, ‘You’ve got to beat that atmosphere, the energy they spend in their games,'” said Sir Alex Ferguson, who is famous for his statement related to Celtic Park.

Lionel Messi, on the other hand, referred to the environment at Celtic as the best he had ever played in.

Over sixty thousand people are able to be accommodated within the stadium, making it the largest football ground in Scotland. Since its opening in 1892, it has undergone renovations between the years 1994 and 1998.

In addition to playing host to matches in the Champions League and the legendary ‘Old Firm’ derby between Rangers and Celtic, the stadium has also been used for concerts in recent times and even served as the location for the opening ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
