In the past, Isabelle da Silva, the wife of former Chelsea star Thiago Silva, provided fans with a glimpse into the amount of money that football players spend on a meal out.
In the third round of the FA Cup, which took place in January 2024, Silva was one of the players who contributed to Chelsea’s victory over Preston North End, a team from the Championship.
Armando Broja, Raheem Sterling, and Enzo Fernandez were among the players who contributed to the scoresheet for Chelsea, which was led by Mauricio Pochettino at the time. Silva was also among those who scored for Chelsea.
Immediately following the match, Isabelle Silva, Silva’s wife, took to social media to post a picture of the bill that they had received from their meal out.
In addition to the picture of the bill, there was a caption that read, “A straightforward meal with the family.”
Over the course of their meal at the upscale Novikov restaurant in London, Silva and his family racked up a bill that totalled £900.30.
A peaking duck that costs £85 and a king crab leg that is worth £95 are two of the most expensive dishes that the Silva family ordered at the Novikov restaurant. Both of these dishes are among the most expensive available.
Silva ultimately decided to leave Chelsea at the conclusion of the 23/24 season, having played for the club for a total of 155 games and scoring nine goals during his time there.
The Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup were all titles that Silva won while he was playing for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Silva sent an emotional message to Blues fans after he made the announcement that he would be leaving the team.
“I have a lot of affection for Chelsea,” he stated. The duration of my stay here ended up being four years, despite the fact that I had originally planned to only be here for a year. Not only for myself, but also for the rest of my family.
I believe that I always gave my best effort in everything that I did while I was here for the past four years. On the other hand, it is unfortunate that everything has a beginning, a middle, and an end. This does not necessarily mean that this is the final conclusion. I would like to leave the door open so that I can come back to this place in the not too distant future, albeit in a different capacity.
After that, Silva went back to Brazil and signed with Fluminense, a team that competes in the Serie A. The forty-year-old player has participated in 27 matches and scored twice so far.,
