According to reports, Chelsea is ready to let go of 23 players, including Mykhailo Mudryk and Jadon Sancho, as another hectic summer transfer season looks to be approaching at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues had started the season well, and when they finished second on Boxing Day, seven points behind dominant leaders Liverpool, there was some speculation that they may fight for the championship. After getting people like Sancho and Noni Madueke fired, Enzo Maresca appeared to be the ideal candidate for BlueCo’s initiative.
This is no longer the case, as Maresca’s team has lost just five of their last 16 league games, marking a startling decline since the holiday season. They are now six points behind fifth-place Manchester City, who will qualify for the UEFA Champions League the following season.
Chelsea’s team is always changing, and this summer will probably be no exception as reports from Spain indicate that another rebuild will take place. A handful of well-known players, including Sancho and Mudryk, have limited time left at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will fire twenty-three players.
For reinvestment, the Blues hope to generate £427 million.

According to the Spanish website Fichajes.net, Chelsea is prepared to let go of up to 23 players in an effort to raise £427 million (€500 million). Sancho, who has been on loan from Manchester United, is anticipated to say goodbye to a possible permanent move at this point.
The 25-year-old Sancho joined the Blues on loan with a £25 million buyout clause, although the west Londoners have the option to opt out of the deal and pay a £5 million penalty. The English winger appeared to be guaranteed a permanent position, but he has struggled over the winter, scoring only one goal in 17 Premier League games since early December.
It’s also said that Chelsea is prepared to lose money on the 24-year-old Mudryk. Due to a preliminary suspension, the Ukrainian attacker has not played for the team since November and faces a lengthy ban for failing a drug test. In January 2023, he paid £62 million to join from Shakhtar Donetsk after former manager Roberto De Zerbi said he would win the Ballon d’Or.
Another winger named for the 23-man roster is Madueke, 23, who has struggled to establish a stable starting position with Maresca’s first squad. Another potential target for offloading is 24-year-old Wesley Fofana, who cost £70 million in the summer of 2022 but has struggled with injuries ever since.
Even though Dewsbury-Hall and Guiu joined only last summer, Robert Sanchez, Christopher Nkunku, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu, and David Datro Fofana also have questionable futures. Due to his injury history, Blues captain Reece James is also mentioned; nevertheless, one would anticipate that the England international would not be at the top of their “must leave” list.
Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Andrey Santos, Lesley Ugochukwu, Carney Chukwuemeka, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Mike Penders, Deivid Washington, Caleb Wiley, Alfie Gilchrist, and Bashir Humphreys are among the players currently on loan who complete the list of possible departures from Stamford Bridge.
Joao Felix was re-signed last summer in a £45 million deal after struggling during his first loan stint with the West Londoners. Although the Portuguese attacker was loaned to AC Milan in January, it appears that he will be sold at the end of the current campaign.

Boehly will support Maresca, and the team will be restructured using the money from any of these sales. Victor Osimhen, a past target who would apparently be open to joining the club this summer but wants a salary of £9.5 million per year, might be acquired to address the team’s ongoing lack of a proven goal scorer.
