Chelsea had more reasons to celebrate after defeating West Ham 3-0 and moving up to second place in the league standings.
For the first time this season, Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali were photographed together at London Stadium as the Blues easily defeated West Ham. The pair, who are said to have discussed purchasing each other’s shares, were spotted together, which will be extremely beneficial for the team as the season goes on.
The project’s face, Boehly, is apparently dissatisfied with the club’s current path and wanted to review the hiring procedure. Eghbali, meantime, is committed to seeing the project through to completion because he thinks the significant investment in youngsters will eventually help the squad in the long run.
Even though they are both prosperous businessmen in their own right, the sight of them together during the victory would undoubtedly cheer the supporters, the manager, and his coaching staff immensely.
Despite the off-field events, Enzo Maresca has not wavered; he told LondonWorld that he has recently spoken with both co-owners.
Prior to the match against Bournemouth, he said to LondonWorld, “I kind of spoke with Todd when we played City.” Behdad and I chatted a few days ago. I’m conversing with both of them; nothing is wrong. As I already stated, the pitch is all that I have control over, so I am concentrating on that.
Furthermore, according to information obtained by LondonWorld, Eghbali spearheaded the effort to succeed Mauricio Pochettino in the summer of last year, and his exit made it possible for Maresca to leave Leicester and join Chelsea.
With just five games played, Chelsea is currently second in the league, a testament to Maresca’s outstanding start to his Chelsea career. When he was originally appointed, not many could have imagined this level of accomplishment.
