Chelsea ‘offer SEVEN players as part of £85 million swap deal’ for Premier League star amid Man Utd interest

Chelsea has offered seven players in exchange.

Chelsea has offered SEVEN players as part of a spectacular swap deal for a Premier League star, hoping to beat Manchester United to the signing.

Chelsea has already recruited for the next season, adding Liam Delap to their squad.

Delap has signed a six-year contract with the Blues after they satisfied his £30 million release clause in his Ipswich Town deal, which was activated following the club’s relegation from the Premier League last season.

Manchester United was also interested in the 22-year-old attacker, but Chelsea beat them to it.

However, the Red Devils were unable to sign Delap since they did not qualify for the Champions League, which would have occurred had they defeated Tottenham in last month’s Europa League final.

A new report indicates Chelsea and Manchester United will compete for another Premier League star this summer.

According to Graeme Bailey, Chelsea has offered West Ham United seven players in exchange for Mohammed Kudus.

Chelsea are believed to be looking for a new winger after passing up the opportunity to buy Jadon Sancho on a permanent basis following his loan spell last season.

The Ghana international, who supposedly has an £85 million release clause, is thought to be high on Enzo Maresca’s transfer wishlist.

Maresca intends to sign Kudus by offering West Ham seven players, including Robert Sanchez and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Defenders Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, and Axel Disasi, as well as midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, have been offered in exchange.

Kudus, 24, has been with West Ham since the summer of 2023, when he moved from Ajax for £36.

He had a fantastic debut season with the Hammers, scoring 14 goals in all competitions.

Kudus was less prolific last season, scoring just five goals.

Despite his performances last season, Chelsea hopes to sign him before competing in this month’s Club World Cup.

In the competition’s group stage, which takes place in the United States, the West London outfit will meet Leon, Flamengo, and ES Tunis.
