Champions League play-off draw live Man City discover opponents plus start time and how to watch has been Confirmed

When the Champions League draw is held today, Manchester City will find out who they will face in the knockout stage next month.

Greetings and welcome to our live coverage of the Champions League play-off draw this morning.

On Wednesday night, Manchester City defeated Club Brugge 3-1 after coming back from behind to earn a spot in the hat. With that outcome, Pep Guardiola’s team moved up from 25th place, outside the qualifying spots, to 22nd place at the end.

Unfortunately, it has earned them a spot in the play-off round against either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. City’s path to the final may be somewhat planned out because UEFA has already partially mapped out the draw path.

This morning’s draw will determine City’s opponent for the following round as well as the area they will play in. In the UK, TNT Sports will broadcast the draw live, with a scheduled start time of 11 a.m. However, individuals without a subscription can watch it live on UEFA’s website.

Sketch specifics.
The team led by Pep Guardiola was late in securing their spot in the playoffs. Before Wednesday’s match against Club Brugge, City was on the verge of European elimination after losing all four of their subsequent Champions League games, despite only earning seven of a possible nine points from their first three European appearances this season.

City will now play Real Madrid in the play-off round after overcoming a difficult start to the game to earn the three points required at the Etihad.
