Callum Osmand, the striker for Celtic, said that his latest injury setback has devastated him, but he assured fans that he will return stronger than before.
The 19-year-old suffered a tragic turn of events when he was substituted out of Thursday’s 3-1 Europa League loss to FC Midtjylland. Last Saturday, he became a Celtic hero after scoring against Rangers in the League Cup semi-final.

Osmand shared his thoughts on a hectic week filled with highs and lows on Instagram:
“Devastated. He wrote, “From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.” I’m devastated that this injury happened when I was just starting out. I’m thankful for all the messages and for everyone around me; I’ll be back stronger.
His sincere statement has received a lot of support from teammates and supporters alike, with many complimenting the young striker’s tenacity and will. Osmand had just been given his first genuine opportunity in the senior squad by interim manager Martin O’Neill, and his performances suggested a promising future.
Osmand’s absence hurts Celtic because Kelechi Iheanacho is still out and there aren’t many attacking options before the match against Kilmarnock this weekend. However, his attitude implies that this is really a pause, not the conclusion, of his story in black and white.
