Bruno Guimaraes ‘responds’ to Alexander Isak’s Instagram story and Newcastle fans are loving it

Bruno Guimaraes’ social media activities was not unnoticed by Newcastle United fans.

Newcastle United fans are ecstatic about what Bruno Guimaraes shared on social media after Alexander Isak broke his silence with a shocking revelation.

Isak’s name has continued to dominate the summer transfer market.

He has gone on strike at Newcastle and did not travel with the squad to their Premier League opener against Aston Villa last Saturday.

Liverpool have already spent big this summer, signing Florian Wirtz for a record £116 million and Hugo Ekitike.

However, the Reds are still looking for additional reinforcements after the exits of Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, as well as the death of Diogo Jota.

And they’re planning a club record bid for Isak, who was nominated to the PFA Premier League Team of the Year on Tuesday.

After being named to the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, the Swede resorted to social media to explain his situation, citing ‘broken promises’.

He also expressed a wish to depart St. James’ Park this summer.

As previously said, Newcastle played their first game of the new season without Isak.

Guimaraes led his squad to a goalless draw at Villa Park.

Just minutes after Isak’s public announcement, the Brazilian midfielder resorted to social media to share a furious message.

He uploaded a post from the Premier League’s Latin America account, which Newcastle supporters adored.

One X user said, “Bruno Guimaraes’ response to Isak’s statement gives me chills.” Bruno demonstrates that a club will always be larger than an individual player. This is what you call a proclamation of unity.”

Another commented, “What a response. “No need for words.”

Eddie Howe, speaking after his team’s game versus Villa, expressed his desire for a swift conclusion.

“This season, any season, is going to be difficult enough. “You don’t need any kind of distraction to swerve your thoughts and disrupt what we’re doing,” he said.

“I hope it is resolved fast, because it is constantly in the headlines. The guys have managed to block it out and perform. We have to keep doing that.”

Dan Burn describes how the Newcastle locker room responded to the Alexander Isak affair.
Newcastle began their Premier League campaign last weekend.

Burn spoke with TNT Sports prior to kickoff and was asked about the Isak situation.

The experienced defender stated that the entire situation has brought the team together.

“I believe there is certainly a lot of extraneous noise. We have a close-knit group, and we just get on with it,” he explained.

“I guess we’ve been without Alex [Isak] for about four or five weeks now, so he’s definitely not involved right now.

“But we’ve got players who need to step up and contribute to the goals and we’re ready to go.”
