Breaking News: Rashford transfer ‘practically agreed’ with Man Utd as he ‘sets deadline’ for deal

As the transfer window draws to a close, Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has given Barcelona a deadline to complete a loan agreement before considering other options.

Following his shocking exclusion in the Manchester Derby a few days later, Rashford has only made one appearance in the matchday squad since the Red Devils defeated Viktoria Plzen 2-1 on December 12.

Shortly after the 2-1 victory over Man City, the England international stated that he was prepared for a “new challenge,” and he has since been connected to several teams.

Rashford appears no closer to a transfer than he was at the start of the month, despite reports of interest from Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Marseille, and a few Premier League teams.

After the Red Devils defeated Fulham 1-0 on Sunday, the Manchester United forward now faces the possibility of being permanently locked out if he stays with Ruben Amorim condemning his training performances.

Rashford might stay at Manchester United, according to Amorim, who stated that he would “welcome a talent” like the forward “if he changes.”

“With Rashford, our team should be so much better, but Rashford has to change,” the Manchester United manager stated. We need a player like Rashford, and we would be more than happy to get him if he changed. We require objectives, competition, and a threat.

But right now, I believe it’s very obvious that we need to establish some guidelines. If Marcus wants it so badly, we’re waiting for him. The only thing is that. It’s not personal, despite your attempts to make it so. Nothing is wrong with Marcus.

“I simply need to create the same guidelines for everyone.” I find that to be quite straightforward; the message is always the same. It’s obvious that Marcus Rashford makes us a stronger team. He has a lot of talent. However, I won’t modify my decision till the appropriate time.

Rashford “has made it clear that his priority is to wear the Barca shirt, but time is running out,” according to recent sources from Spain.

The England international has “practically agreed” to go on loan to Barcelona because he “does not want to be left without a team or spend the rest of the season in the dugout at United.”

The Catalan powerhouses “need to get rid of some players to free up salary margin and be able to register him,” and “Rashford would have a clear path to land in Barcelona” if Pablo Torre or Ansu Fati depart before the deadline.

Rashford has “already set a deadline” in an attempt to move the transaction along, while Barcelona is “working on the possibility of including a purchase option on the loan.”

A potential deal for the Manchester United forward is viewed by president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco as “a unique opportunity,” and they intend “to close an exit as soon as possible in order to bring in Rashford.”
