Breaking News: Man Utd has finally SACK Erik ten Hag after FA Cup Win; Mauricio Pochettino among three top replacement targets

According to reports, Erik ten Hag will leave Manchester United this summer, and Sir Jim Ratcliffe has shortlisted three excellent candidates to take his place.

The Dutch coach has been under increasing pressure for a while, but it was initially believed that a decision would not be made until after the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

However, Man Utd has decided that Ten Hag will be fired regardless of the outcome against their local rivals, according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio.

Di Marzio stated, “Manchester United will separate with ten Hag at the end of the season,” in an interview with Soccernews.nl.

“Kieran McKenna and Mauricio Pochettino are the current candidates to be the new manager of Manchester United [for the upcoming season].”

He said, “Roberto De Zerbi is on the list, but we haven’t spoken directly in a few days.”

Chelsea is interested in both McKenna and De Zerbi as a result of their contentious decision to part ways with Pochettino, which did not sit well with some of their players.

Pochettino could now move immediately to Old Trafford and would never run out of job offers.

Pochettino is a real target for the Red Devils, as we exclusively disclosed on Tuesday, and they may now formally express their interest with a contract offer.

Erik ten Hag is fired by Manchester United.
McKenna and Pochettino are reportedly Man Utd’s two best options to succeed Ten Hag, according to Di Marzio.

McKenna was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s assistant manager and Jose Mourinho’s assistant coach during his five years with the Red Devils.

After leading the Tractor Boys from League One to the Premier League over the course of an amazing three years, many TEAMtalk sources close to Ipswich Town predict McKenna will depart the team.

McKenna and Chelsea are scheduled to speak soon, but it appears that Manchester United may try to sign him before Chelsea does.

If McKenna does decide to go to Stamford Bridge, Di Marzio continues, the Red Devils will “push for Pochettino” in his place.
