Breaking: Is it possible that Chelsea may rejoin Roman Abramovich? The Chelsea owner discusses his conversation with Roman Abramovich. Bring Chelsea back, please.

Regarding my ownership of Chelsea FC, I would want to address the rumors that have been circulating in the media for the past several days. As I have stated before, I have always acted in the best interests of the Club when making choices. Therefore, I have made the decision to sell the club in the current conditions because I believe it is in the best interests of all parties—fans, employees, sponsors, and club partners.

The Club’s sale will go as planned and won’t be rushed. I won’t be asking for any loan repayment. This has always been more about my pure passion for the game and Club than it has been about money or business. Furthermore, my group has been tasked with creating a charity organization to which all net sales earnings would be donated. The organization will help all those who have been harmed by the conflict in Ukraine. This means making a substantial contribution to the victims’ urgent and immediate needs in addition to supporting their long-term rehabilitation.I hate having to split ways with the Club in this manner, but I want you to know that I have given this decision careful consideration. Nevertheless, I do believe that this is in the Club’s best interests. When I make my final trip back to Stamford Bridge, I hope to be able to say goodbye to each of you personally. It has been an amazing privilege to be a part of Chelsea FC, and I’m proud of all that we have achieved together. I will always be a fan of Chelsea Football Club and its supporters.Thank you.Roman
