With just nine games left in the season, Arsenal lost to Manchester City on Sunday, and Liverpool took their place atop the Premier League ladder.
In order to maintain their lead in the Premier League standings, Arsenal kept Manchester City at bay, but they did not finish Easter Sunday atop the standings.
After City and Arsenal drew 0-0 at the Etihad, Liverpool, who are two points ahead of Mikel Arteta’s team, overtook both the Gunners and the defending champions. Pep Guardiola’s team is still one point behind Arsenal, who are in third place.
In order to snap their 20-year title drought, Arsenal will need to overcome Liverpool and hold off City in the final nine game days of the season. Next Wednesday night at the Emirates, they take on Luton Town, who are in danger of relegation.

Keys accuses Guardiola of
Pundit Richard Keys of BeINSPORT claimed that Pep Guardiola was “playing up to the camera” after his animated Sunday post-match conversation with Jack Grealish.
In an intense match that ended in a 0-0 draw, the England international was added as a second-half substitute in an attempt to turn the tide against Arsenal. At the final whistle, Guardiola was then observed having a heated discussion with Grealish, which sparked a lot of discussion online.
Despite his belief that Guardiola’s actions were more of a stage act for the cameras, Keys entered the debate.

After the first set of Easter fixtures, Roy Keane thinks Liverpool has the advantage in the title fight.
Due to their 0-0 draws, Manchester City and Arsenal both lost ground in the Premier League hierarchy, while Liverpool—who defeated Brighton 2-1—picked up all three points and passed both teams.
Few predicted that the Reds would challenge for the title this year following a busy summer in the transfer market, but with nine games remaining, Jurgen Klopp’s team is in the lead and Keane thinks they should now be regarded as the overwhelming favorites to unseat Manchester City.

Liverpool now has the responsibility to lose the Premier League title, according to Pep Guardiola.
With nine games remaining, the Reds are leading the table by two points over Arsenal and three over City, who drew with Mikel Arteta’s team on Sunday afternoon at the Etihad.
Guardiola said, “Yeah,” when asked if Liverpool was now the front-runner for the title. We’re third, Arsenal is second, and first is always the favorite. It’s not under our control. The next game is against Aston Villa, so aim to win. It’s easy.
