After the game, Odgaard took to Instagram to explain the situation as perplexed fans attempted to figure out what the painful-looking bright red ring on his neck was. Next to a happy emoticon, the 26-year-old said, “It’s just a medicine I’m using for my neck, nothing serious.”

The Serie A player is receiving medical treatment for a dermatological issue, which is the cause of Odgaard’s mark, according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo. According to the story, the odd red mark has since emerged as a result of the Dane’s medication.
