Benjamin Sesko ‘decides’ between Man Utd and Newcastle as Fabrizio Romano drops major update

Between Manchester United and Newcastle United, Benjamin Sesko has made a “decision” on which team he wants to join.

With Manchester United and Newcastle United showing interest, Benjamin Sesko’s transfer story has taken a new turn with the release of a significant update.

As Newcastle and Manchester United pursue the RB Leipzig star, Sesko has been the focus of strong transfer rumours.

After missing out on players like Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, and Viktor Gyokeres, he has become the top transfer target for both Newcastle and Manchester United.

Newcastle made a more aggressive approach of £70 million as a set fee plus add-ons after their initial offer was turned down.

Newcastle’s offer was surpassed by Man United’s £74 million proposal, which included a £65.2 million payment guarantee.

Rasmus Hojlund wasn’t interested in the move, and the Red Devils’ attempt to include him in the transaction fell through.

Newcastle and Manchester United are two teams that are determined to sign Sesko before the new season begins.

According to a recent report by Fabrizio Romano, Sesko “only wants to join Man United.”

Man United is now more certain than ever that, should a deal be reached between the two teams, the 22-year-old will come to Old Trafford.

Understand Manchester United’s sentiment from earlier today is even stronger tonight… the club feels Benjamin Sesko wants to join Manchester United exclusively,” Romano wrote on X.

“Man United forwarded official contract proposal to Sesko while also keep negotiating with RB Leipzig.”

The sky Romano’s report was supported by Florian Plettenberg of Germany, who stated that the star forward is “very likely” to choose Man United over Newcastle.

Plettenberg stated: “There has always been a sense that Benjamin Sesko would pick MUFC over every alternative available right now!

“In the last few days, nothing has changed. The offer from Manchester United was vital. It’s highly probable that #Sesko will join #MUFC if RB Leipzig and Manchester United can come to an agreement.

Since Man United believes Sesko is waiting for them, they are now concentrating on attempting to come to an agreement with Leipzig, thus the transaction isn’t quite over yet.

Man United’s apparent victory over Newcastle in Sesko serves as a stark reminder of their appeal on a worldwide scale.

Sesko is expected to join Ruben Amorim’s team, which, in contrast to Newcastle, which made it to the Champions League the previous season, is unable to provide European football.
