Barcelona fans have flocked to social media to demand that one player be sacked from the club following the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
Several of Europe’s biggest clubs won their second Champions League group stage match on Tuesday night, with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea all picking up three points.
Following Tuesday’s thrilling contests, all eyes were on Wednesday night’s games, with many predicting Barcelona’s encounter against 2024/25 Champions League winners PSG to be the evening’s highlight.
After former Manchester City player Ferran Torres, assisted by Marcus Rashford, gave Barcelona an early lead, it appeared that the La Liga champions would stroll to victory.
But things couldn’t have gone more wrong, as PSG scored shortly before halftime before clinching the win in the dying moments of the game, prompting Barcelona fans to lash out at one player online.

Dani Olmo, a former Bayer Leverkusen player, has signed a six-year contract with his boyhood club after impressing for Spain at the 2024 European Championships.
Since then, the attacking midfielder has made 47 appearances for the Spanish giants, scoring 13 goals and assisting nine, but supporters are unhappy with his most recent Champions League performance.
Reacting to Olmo’s performance against PSG, one Barcelona fan remarked on X: “Tansfer list Olmo right now. “Enough is enough.”
Another added: “Leave my beautiful club, Dani Olmo.”
With one plea: “Come on Olmo, I can’t keep defending you,”
Another disgruntled fan declared: “Olmo is a player who has one good game every quarter! I see another sitter is missing.”

Olmo has made nine appearances for Barcelona this season, picking up an assist against Valencia in La Liga before scoring and assisting against Getafe the following week.
However, this hasn’t stopped Barcelona fans from mocking the 27-year-old on multiple times this season, suggesting that he isn’t worth the alleged £51 million Barcelona spent on him.
Olmo is one of the club’s highest-paid players, earning roughly £150,847 every week, so it’s evident that expectations are high.
