“As a Manchester United’s fan, I don’t like what that guy did against Crystal Palace…He was the reason we lose that match”: Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer is not happy with ONE Man United’s player after his horrible performance against Crystal Palace yesterday

A star player for Manchester United has been referred to as the “biggest loser” as a result of the formation change that Ruben Amorim implemented following the team’s loss to Crystal Palace.

Following a lacklustre performance from Ruben Amorim’s team, Manchester United suffered a defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, which resulted in a score of 2-0.

Despite the presence of Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee on the bench, the Portuguese manager made the decision to not start a striker who is widely recognised.

Kobbie Mainoo, who was playing as a false nine, got off to a strong start in the game by hitting the post early on. However, as the game progressed, the teenager’s performance began to decline.

At the beginning of the match, United was the more dominant team; however, Palace consistently posed a threat on the break and eventually earned their rewards in the second half.

Jean-Philippe Mateta scored two goals in the second half to win the game for the away team. These goals tied Hojlund’s record for most goals scored in the Premier League against a single opponent this season.

When compared to Palace, Dalot makes a poor display.

Prior to the match, it was announced that Patrick Dorgu would be joining Manchester United. He then made his way onto the Old Trafford pitch alongside Ayden Heaven in order to personally introduce himself to the fans.

With Diogo Dalot’s performance, it became even more apparent that Amorim required a wingback after the game against Palace. It was already obvious that Amorim needed a wingback before the game.

The United defender had yet another poor performance at left wingback, as he was involved in nine duels and committed two fouls over the course of the match’s duration of ninety minutes.

Furthermore, Dalot had numerous opportunities to create something on the left flank in the attacking half of the field, but he was unable to make anything out of those opportunities.

He was recognised as the club’s Player of the Year during the previous season while playing as a natural fullback; however, this change in formation does not suit him, and one of the supporters has referred to the Portuguese international as one of the “biggest losers” of the new system.

Although Dorgu has been described as an attacking-minded wingback, he will have no trouble breaking into this United team if he is able to provide any kind of quality in the final third of the pitch.

When it comes to the wingbacks, Amorim has made the most significant error.

Amorim has found himself in a very challenging circumstance at Old Trafford, and the majority of the problems that are being displayed are not his fault.

One thing, however, that appears to be a pattern is that United does not perform well when two fullbacks play as those wingbacks in his system. This is something that seems to repeat itself.

However, this is something that he continues to do on a regular basis, and it is definitely something that needs to change now that Dorgu is a part of the team.

Additionally, Noussair Mazraoui is a significantly more advantageous option in the back three, and there should be a greater possibility of danger coming from the wide areas.
