Arsenal fans noticed what Virgil van Dijk ‘almost said’ during post-match interview after Aston Villa draw

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk ‘almost said’ something in his post-match interview after his team’s match against Aston Villa ended in a 2-2 draw. Arsenal supporters believe they have seen what van Dijk said.

The Reds were able to earn a point away from Villa Park thanks to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s equaliser that was scored in the second half.

A goal scored by Mohamed Salah gave Arne Slot’s team the lead in the first half, but goals scored by Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins gave Villa the lead going into the halftime stretch.

It is possible that Liverpool will view the draw as a loss of two points due to the fact that Darwin Nunez failed to score a goal from a distance of yards after his team had tied the score at 2-2.

The result does move the Reds eight points ahead of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, despite the fact that the Gunners now have a game in hand over the Reds.

Van Dijk was on media duty at Villa Park after the match, and Gunners supporters were paying close attention to what he had to say.

During his interview on TNT Sports, football fans were under the impression that the Dutchman was going to say “Credit to Arsenal” rather than “Credit to Aston Villa.”

From the perspective of a fan, “Living in his head rent free.”

An additional participant stated: “We have Merino playing up front and he’s scared of us already.”

According to a third individual, “The Arsenal aura.”

However, there were other supporters who expressed their disagreement with the statement. One of them wrote, “He says credit to us and Aston Villa as well, and these think he went to say Arsenal.”

“This is going to be their trophy when they don’t win the league this season,” wrote a second person, who was making a dig at the first person.

And a third person chimed in, saying, “He unequivocally credited us.”

The match between Liverpool and Arsenal, which will take place at Anfield on May 10, has the potential to be a decisive one in determining the winner of the Premier League title for this season.

The Gunners, on the other hand, will have to rely on Liverpool dropping more points and maintaining a run of form themselves in the midst of an attacking injury crisis that is currently causing them to be without Bukayo Saka, who is the player who is closest to making a return, as well as Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz.
