After the Liverpool penalty was not awarded, Jurgen Klopp makes predictions about what Howard Webb will do tomorrow.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, responded to the fact that his team was not given a penalty in the final seconds of their match against Manchester City today.

The Reds believed they should have been given another sport-kick far into injury time, having already been given one. As Jeremy Doku and Alexis Mac Allister were going head-to-head in the box, the City man seemed to catch Mac Allister with a high boot.

However, referee Michael Oliver declared there was no penalty after the VAR reviewed the video. After the match, Klopp shared his thoughts on the incident with beIN SPORTS.

The manager of Liverpool, who has already experienced some dubious decisions this season, acknowledged that he was anticipating a call from Howard Webb, the head of the PGMOL.

“It’s obvious penalty,” sighed Klopp. “Either Howard Webb calls us tomorrow or someone explains why it’s not, but neither will affect the outcome!”

Klopp is upset about the penalty call.
The Liverpool fan base will understandably be incensed after this most recent high-profile refereeing incident. Actually, there has already been one.

But we have to be honest: despite the fact that we might be in the minority, we don’t truly believe Doku’s challenge of Mac Allister was a penalty.

Yes, it was high, and receiving it wouldn’t have come as a surprise. However, it wasn’t overly substantial either.
