“According to what I heard… He’ll be sacked then”: Gary Neville reveals Erik ten Hag sacking date as the club set to release statements- Decision MADE

If things don’t get better, Gary Neville thinks Erik ten Hag will be fired by Manchester United before the end of the current campaign.

United was destroyed 3-0 at home by bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday, marking their second loss in nine days.

After defeating Fulham 1-0 to begin the season, Ten Hag’s team suffered a 2-1 loss at Brighton.

by United’s worst-ever Premier League season, finishing eighth and with a goal differential of -1, the Dutchman was almost certainly going to lose his job at the end of the season, but he was spared by defeating Man City in the FA Cup final.

Neville worries that club owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who was seen on Sunday with his head in his hands, would soon lose patience.

During his post-match analysis for Sky Sports, former United captain Neville stated, “Every manager that comes to this club has struggled.”

And there’s a sense that today—are we going to experience the same thing once more? However, I believe that this is a chance for some peace and quiet, an international break that United most likely needs.

Erik ten Hag will have difficulties if he doesn’t get the team to a point where they can challenge for the Champions League before Christmas.

He is aware of that. You know, he’s been persuaded to alter his personnel and squad. He hired two new coaches in the summer, which isn’t usually the best idea either. Therefore, even though he has been here for two years, new messaging is still arriving. New CEOs and technical directors are in place. At the club, a lot has changed.

Many employees who have worked here for a long time are also departing. Therefore, let’s face it—there was going to be some suffering involved in actually, if you will, meddling with the Glazer ownership. It is this suffering that we are witnessing now.

Things won’t get better right away. It’s a sad day for United, but I believe we simply need to be calm because we want to change ownership, we already have that, and there are other things going on that we need to give time to process.
