Jovon Makama was on the verge of leaving Carrow Road prior to his injury, according to Clinton Morrison, who is optimistic that the attacker can find his rhythm again at Norwich City.
After signing from Lincoln last season, Makama had an outstanding debut season at City, which was said to have alerted Leeds. He is currently working his way back to full fitness after a six-month injury layoff.

Morrison, who has known Makama and his family from the striker’s early years, thinks patience will be needed as he strives for top fitness and tries to regain the form that made Premier League clubs take notice.I am familiar with him. I am well familiar with the family. I recall him playing for Nottingham Forest as a little child,
then moving on to Lincoln, where he excelled at Norwich. It’s difficult for him to get back up to speed after suffering a serious injury. However, I believe he will resume scoring goals as he receives more playing time. He’s a powerhouse, in my opinion,” Morrison remarked.
“Because of how outstanding he was, I believe he was on the verge of another move at one point last season; major clubs were considering him. However, he had to go again after a setback. I believe he will find his rhythm. He’s still young, and these things take time. I believe that’s what people need to understand: he’s not a seasoned pro; he needs to reacclimate to his body and be free and fit. Thus, I believe he will be alright.
Regaining the confidence and rhythm that come with consistently finding the net will be the next hurdle, according to Morrison, as Makama, who switched representatives in the summer, continues to improve his fitness. You feel like you’re six feet tall when you have your chance and score goals. You ask yourself, “Should I keep making that run into the box?” when you’re not scoring goals. Will I receive it?
“But as a striker, you’ve got to keep going and keep getting into that box, because eventually you’ll get one and then the confidence will flood in,” Morrison stated to BetSelect.co.uk’s Pink Un.Strikers rely heavily on self-assurance. They want to play every minute of every game and want the ball if they are hitting the back of the net. They can become quite reclusive when they aren’t scoring goals. However, you are unable to accomplish it.Even if you don’t take advantage of opportunities,
I still see that as a sign that you’re in the proper place. If you’re not receiving opportunities, you’re either doing something incorrectly or the squad isn’t producing. So don’t stop entering. One will eventually enter, at which point you may simply get started.”
