Birmingham City are considering Scott Parker and Sean Dyche as potential replacements for the under pressure Chris Davies.

According to Teamtalk, the Blues have already lined up two candidates in case they replace head coach in the early weeks of the season.

Davies was appointed in the summer of 2024, following the club’s relegation from the Championship, and he led the squad to League One victory on his first attempt.

The Midlands club collected a record 111 points on their road to automatic promotion before finishing 10th in their first season back in the second division.

However, Birmingham’s owners, Knighthead Capital, want the squad to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2011.

Davies’ side has only gained seven points from their first six games this season, putting him under pressure ahead of the forthcoming international break.
