Hugh Jackman, a Hollywood actor, has announced that he is in talks to acquire a minority investment in Championship club Norwich City.

According to talkSPORT, the Hollywood star could become the latest big name to invest in English football ownership.

The Australian works with Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds, and the two co-star in the 2025 film Deadpool & Wolverine.

Reynolds collaborated with fellow actor Rob McElhenney at the Racecourse Ground, where the two oversaw a spectacular rise from non-league football to the second tier of the English football pyramid.

Tom Brady has also ventured into football ownership in the EFL, having a minority share in Birmingham City.

Although he complimented Reynolds’ work with the Red Dragons, he expressed a strong desire to work with Norwich.”I’m very, very interested—and talking about it right now,” Jackman added.

Pink Un has stated that Norwich is valued at £100 million, although it is unclear how much of a stake the Hollywood star intends to purchase.

Jackman’s net worth is estimated to be approximately £100 million, and conversations about a prospective transaction are now underway.
