‘Absolutely criminal!’ – Man Utd fans left apoplectic & turn on Erik ten Hag as shocking defending sees Red Devils slip to last-ditch defeat at Brighton

Manchester United fans were extremely angry and frustrated after witnessing their team let a winning goal in the last moments of the match against Brighton on Saturday.

Brighton emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline over United.
Joao Pedro netted a goal during the additional time of the match.
Supporters attribute the loss on the defensive performance and the manager’s decisions. Manchester United suffered a defeat to Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, with Joao Pedro securing a last-minute victory in the 95th minute. Danny Welbeck initiated the score, followed by Amad Diallo’s equaliser. However, the defensive line of the Red Devils neglected to mark Pedro at the back post during the closing moments, resulting in fans expressing anger. Additionally, Bruno Fernandes, a crucial player, had been substituted.
@AlternativeMUFC shared a screenshot capturing the sequence leading up to the goal and commented on Pedro, stating: “There was a complete absence of any individuals within a radius of eight feet from him.” Humiliating.
@MarkGoldbridge stated: “The responsibility lies with the manager.” The picks were extremely poor from beginning to end.
@AidanWalshMUFC expressed his disapproval, stating that removing Bruno from the game against a team that plays with a high defensive line, when the objective is to secure a victory, is highly unjustifiable.
@Towett1 commented: “Are we using the same tactics in the new season and hoping for different outcomes?” The current predicament lies primarily with Ten Hag. Inadequate strategies and gameplay. Ten Hag should be dismissed promptly to prevent any more complications.
@Waqy enquired, “What activities are they engaging in during their training, sir?”
Brighton scored the winning goal following an extraordinary sequence of play on the opposite side, where Joshua Zirkzee unintentionally prevented Alejandro Garnacho from scoring. The forward attempted to intercept a pass from Bruno Fernandes but failed, inadvertently interfering with the Argentine’s shot towards the goal, resulting in the goal being disallowed due to offside.
United will aim to recover before a crucial match against Liverpool next weekend.
