Norwich City are preparing to sign a 12-goal winger.

Norwich City finished the season on a positive note, despite missing out on a play-off spot.

Philippe Clement received a lot of credit for turning things around at Carrow Road after taking over as head coach in November.

The former Rangers manager took over the Canaries as the club faced relegation from the Championship.

However, a strong run of form in the second half of the season helped them ascend to ninth place in the table, missing out on a top six finish by only eight points.

The Norfolk club will now focus on the January transfer market, hoping to improve their team for a more consistent promotion campaign next season.

Norwich will attempt to end their hiatus from the Premier League, where they have not contested since 2022.

Norwich City are interested in signing Lille players.

According to French website Foot Mercato, Norwich is one of the clubs interested in signing Ichem Ferrah this summer.

The 20-year-old is reportedly on the Championship club’s radar as they strive to improve their offensive options for next season.

The kid spent last season on loan at Dutch club Cambuur, where he scored 12 goals in 35 games in the second division.

He helped the squad achieve promotion to the Eredivisie by impressing with his performances, which drew the interest of a number of clubs.

Norwich will compete against Copenhagen, Malmo, Genk, La Gantoise, and Feyenoord.

There are also reports that a number of French clubs are interested in the winger, who has yet to make it into Lille’s first squad.

Given the uncertainties surrounding the manager’s status, it is believed that a departure from the Ligue 1 team is the most likely conclusion at this time.

Bruno Génésio is now in command of the team, but it is unclear if he will stay in the dugout after finishing third in the table, as he is attracting interest from clubs such as Marseille.

Ferrah has progressed through the French club’s academy system but has only been in the top tier once.

The forward will enter the final 12 months of his current deal, which expires in June 2027, putting additional pressure on the club to sell him this summer.

Norwich could be in for an intriguing signing with Ichem Ferrah.

Norwich finished the season on a high note, thanks to their efforts in the January transfer window, which included the acquisitions of Mohamed Touré and Paris Maghoma, respectively.

Ben Knapper, the club’s sporting director, has improved his reputation at Carrow Road and will now be trusted by supporters.

While Ferrah has no experience in English football, he received high accolades for his exploits in the Dutch second division this season, and he may be a very exciting signing for the Canaries.

If they can win the race for his signature, it may be a very wise business decision for the club.
