‘Rejected again’ – Celtic fans react to Rangers official announcement

Celtic fans reacted to the Rangers’ formal declaration about their coaching position.

It is safe to assume that Celtic fans are dissatisfied with way things have been handled at Parkhead in recent times. And there are absolutely many places for improvement. That being said, based on way things have gone for the Rangers this season, it appears that the Hoops may be doing a ‘world class’ job, as they claim.

Despite spending a lot of money this summer, the Rangers appear to have gotten worse. They have one win in their first seven league games and fired Russell Martin after only 123 days in command at Ibrox.

Despite having the full international break, they have not been able to resolve their managerial dilemma in time. Steven Gerrard was the first to turn them down, and Danny Rohl followed suit yesterday.

Kevin Muscat appears to be the front-runner for the time being, but anything can happen in this situation. It would not be surprising if he declined as well. Rangers, on the other hand, have officially announced that Steven Smith, Brian Gilmour, Rhys Owen, and Sal Bibbo will lead the team in their forthcoming Scottish Premiership encounter against Dundee United.

‘Rejected again’: Celtic fans respond to Rangers’ formal announcement.
It is logical to assume that the Rangers would have preferred to resolve the matter by now, but have failed to do so. One Celtic fan commented, accompanied by laughing and pointing finger emojis, “Rejected again.”

On the other side, Rangers fans appear to be dissatisfied with the situation, as one would expect. One responded: “A full international break to sort out a manager and we’re needing to throw Stevie Smith in at the deep end.”

It remains to be seen who the Rangers will bring in. Celtic, on the other hand, will be looking to perform well and win at the weekend. They surely require some momentum themselves.
