Amidst ongoing dissatisfaction with the club’s management, Celtic fans are planning to stage three silent protests during back-to-back home games.
Over the course of nine days beginning this weekend, the board protests will occur during games against Hibernian, Braga, and Motherwell.
The Celtic Collective, a new umbrella organisation, made the announcement on Friday and invited the broader community to participate.
The Premiership match against Hibs on Saturday will begin with a 12-minute silence, while on Thursday, October 2, the Europa League match against the Portuguese team will commence with a 29-minute pause.
Fans will then remain silent for thirty-two minutes on Sunday, October 5, when the Steelmen visit Glasgow’s east end.
A social media post stated, “Three-match silent package is now available.
“The Celtic board cannot continue to commodify our passion while ignoring our concerns.”
The Celtic Fans Collective is comprised of three fan groups: The Green Brigade, Bhoys Celtic, and the Celtic Supporters Association.
It was started last week in an attempt to continue supporters’ efforts to oust chairman Peter Lawwell, chief executive Michael Nicholson, and chief financial officer Chris McKay, to seek answers about the club’s transfer strategy, and to secure a new vision for the club.
An earlier open letter signed by a number of supporter groups demanded answers about the club’s transfer plan and other concerns.
Dissatisfaction with the club’s transfer market transactions prompted a protest during the match against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, with supporters remaining outside for the opening 12 minutes.
When Celtic played Partick Thistle in the League Cup, fans held up banners urging board members to stand behind a larger banner reading “All Celtic Fans Against The Board”.
