Joao Pedro collided with Gabriel Martinelli in Brazil’s match versus Chile.
Joao Pedro stunned spectators with a horrific incident with Brazil teammate Gabriel Martinelli during a World Cup qualifier against Chile.
Pedro of Chelsea led the line as Brazil defeated Chile 3-0 in their World Cup qualifier at the Maracana on Friday.
Estevao, Lucas Paqueta, and Bruno Guimaraes, all from the Premier League, scored goals.
Chelsea’s Estevao scored in the 38th minute, with West Ham United’s Paqueta and Newcastle United’s Guimaraes adding goals in the second half.
But before Brazil took the lead, Pedro clashed with Arsenal’s Martinelli in a terrifying incident.
The 23-year-old vomited after colliding with Martinelli.
He startled supporters by continuing to play despite throwing up.
However, the forward was eventually replaced in the 71st minute.

Pedro’s performance against Chile marked his third international cap, following his debut in November 2023.
He has his sights set on the World Cup next summer, where he hopes to be Brazil’s number nine.
Speaking of Brazil, he stated, “When we talk of football, we think about Brazil. Brazil represents love and passion. As a kid, I spent a lot of time watching Neymar, as well as Ronaldo, Romerio, and Ronaldinho on YouTube. Everyone wants to wear No. 9 for Brazil in the World Cup. I must complete my duties here, and Mr. [Carlo] Ancelotti will make the final decision. I believe I have a good chance.
“I’ve come to a big club at the right time, because I want to be in the Brazil squad for the World Cup,” said the attacker. “If I play, my dream will have come true.” In Rio, the kids were approaching and saying, ‘Hey, make sure you score for us’.”

Pedro has had a promising start to the new season, impressing at the Club World Cup earlier this summer.
He scored three goals in his team’s successful campaign and has two league goals this season.
