In response, current Liverpool star Salah criticized the tweet, stating, “How about we celebrate the great signings without disrespecting the PL champions?”
Liverpool great Jamie Carragher responded to Salah’s post with a heart emoji.
Diaz, 28, left Anfield for Bavaria after agreeing to join German Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich for a reputed €70 million.
Meanwhile, striker Nunez ended his Liverpool career by departing Europe for the Middle East. The Uruguayan signed for Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal for €53 million.
