The Manchester United star might depart the club in the last few days of the transfer window.
Kobbie Mainoo could depart Manchester United in the last week of the transfer window due to a lack of Premier League minutes this season.
On Sunday evening, United failed to secure their first win of the season as Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz’s own goal was ruled off, allowing late colleague Emile Smith-Rowe to score only seconds after coming off the bench.
Following the game, United fans on social media chastised manager Ruben Amorim for once again leaving teenage talent Mainoo on the bench, having already overlooked him in the season opener against Arsenal.
Amorim later stepped out to clarify why he chose not to involve the Englishman, further disappointing fans.
However, it appears that Amorim’s decision to leave Mainoo out of both of United’s Premier League games may come back to haunt him, as a new report suggests the kid could depart the club in the coming days.

With only one week remaining in the summer transfer window, several of the Premier League’s major clubs are still planning both incomings and outgoings.
United is likely to be extremely busy, with plans to move multiple players before the market ends on September 1.
Although players like Jadon Sancho and Rasmus Hojlund are said to be at the top of United’s list of ideal exits, fans did not anticipate Mainoo to be on the transfer list.
However, according to talkSPORT, Mainoo may now contemplate leaving his boyhood club in the last week of the transfer market if a decent offer arrives.
The 20-year-old’s contract with United is slated to end in 2027, and negotiations for an extension are alleged to have stopped.
With that in mind, it may be in United’s best interest to let him leave in the coming days if they accept an offer that meets their worth, allowing them to deal with any potential PSR worries.

Ruben Amorim discusses Mainoo’s lack of gameplay time.
Following the 1-1 draw with Fulham, CCTV showed Mainoo looking angry over losing out on playing once more, prompting Amorim to address the situation in his post-match press conference.
“He is now fighting for the position with Bruno,” Amorim stated.
“And I switched to two midfielders; I left Mason Mount there because we wanted to score a goal, and when I changed, I felt the team needed one holding midfielder close Bruno.
“So he just needs to fight for the position with Bruno like it should be at Manchester United.”
