Gianluigi Donnarumma ‘chooses’ what Premier League club he wants to join amid Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea interest

Gianluigi Donnarumma is garnering a lot of interest from Premier League clubs.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is’very interested’ in joining two Premier League clubs, following interest from Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Donnarumma’s career will take him away from Paris Saint-Germain, with a move planned for the summer.

He was withdrawn from Luis Enrique’s Super Cup team on Wednesday, and the goalie confirmed his exit via social media.

Despite Donnarumma’s contribution to PSG winning four titles last season, the club has supported Enrique’s decision.

“I am supported by my club, and we are trying to find the best solution,” he stated in a press conference before his team’s victory over Tottenham.

“This is a difficult decision. I only have praise for Donnarumma. He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, as well as a fantastic human being.

“However, we were aiming for a different profile. It’s quite difficult to make these decisions.”

Donnarumma has no shortage of suitors, as Premier League clubs have indicated interest.

Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all vying for the Italian international, who has expressed his preference for his next destination.

On The Transfers Podcast, Italian writer Aurelio Capaldi stated that Donnarumma is’very interested’ in joining Manchester City or Chelsea.

He is ‘fascinated’ by Pep Guardiola and would want to play for him at the Etihad.

The 26-year-old also enjoys the concept of living in London and values what Chelsea has to offer.

Man City could be looking for a new No.1 if Ederson leaves the club, with the Brazilian linked with a move to Galatasaray.

Donnarumma is regarded as an ideal replacement, despite the fact that the Blues have already signed a goalkeeper in James Trafford, who joined from Burnley for £27 million.

Gianluigi Donnarumma sees the Premier League as the ‘natural step’.
Donnarumma graduated from AC Milan’s youth academy before making his way into the first team.

He joined PSG on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.

Donnarumma’s agent, Enzo Raiola, believes that playing in England’s top flight is the ‘natural step’ for him.

“Premier League is the right step for Gigio in my view, we’re working on it,” he told me.

“There are no talks with Italian clubs. We are still horrified by PSG’s treatment of Gigio. After four years together, the club shows no respect. We will discuss the case with our legal staff.

“We will investigate solutions immediately; perhaps some Premier League clubs will be able to pay what is required.

“Paris Saint-Germain are asking for a lot of money. “They talk about respect, but it’s all about money.”
