We are aware that when it comes to generating elite wingers, the Premier League simply won’t let it go. It’s like every year, some elderly guy reinvents himself or some young kid rips apart defences.
Here’s the real thing: my purely personal, and perhaps contentious, ranking of the best left wingers now playing in England. I’m talking vibes, major moments, and pure danger on the pitch, but statistics are cool.
11. Newcastle United’s Harvey Barnes 2024–25 stats: 40 games, 9 goals, and 4 assists

Despite not usually being the first name on the Newcastle squad sheet, Barnes is a talented player. He was injured, yet he recovered as if he were allergic to the treatment table. With his strong runs, devious goals, and directness that sends defenders reeling, he’s the kind of person you throw on when you need pandemonium. He is always willing to ruin the life of a bad right-back, whether he is starting or coming off the bench.
10. Chelsea’s Noni Madueke in 2024–2025: 46 games, 11 goals, and 4 assists

Although he often plays as a right winger, Chelsea has been experimenting, and to be honest, it’s working. With his quick feet, dazzling dribbles, and self-assurance to try things that make fans gasp (or groan, depending on the day), Madueke is the epitome of vibes. When he’s on, he’s practically unplayable, but he’s still working out the kinks. Sometimes you’re shouting at the TV because he held the ball for too long.
9. Alex Iwobi (Fulham) stats for 2024–2025: 44 games, 9 goals, and 6 assists

Iwobi? In the top ten? Listen to me. He is no longer just “that guy from Arsenal.” He became Mr. Reliable at Fulham, constantly working, coordinating play, and keeping things moving. Although he doesn’t receive enough affection, Fulham wouldn’t appear nearly as well-organised without him. Although he isn’t particularly showy, he is incredibly intelligent and reliable when it counts.
8. Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford 2024–2025 stats: 17 games, 4 goals, and 5 assists

To be honest, Rashford has had better years. If you give Rashford a yard of space, he will still fire you, even if he is not playing well. Defenders are still plagued by his speed and ability to cut inside. Rashford occasionally chooses to remind everyone of what he is capable of doing with a little magic, even though United has been everywhere.
7. Leandro Trossard’s 2024–25 numbers with Arsenal include 51 games, 10 goals, and 9 assists.

Criminally underappreciated is Trossard. Although he isn’t the best player, he is the one who can score or help out when you least expect it. Extremely organised, always knows where to go, and, to be honest, quite clutch whether he starts or arrives late. Additionally, he can play up front almost anywhere, but this season, he has looked his best while drifting in from the left.
6. Manchester City’s Jérémy Doku 2024–25 stats: 41 games, 8 goals, and 9 assists

Doku has already established himself as one of the Premier League’s most dreaded dribblers. Pep Guardiola has allowed him the latitude to isolate full-backs and wreak havoc, and he is unparalleled in his ability to speed past defenders in confined spaces.
Doku’s sheer explosiveness and inventiveness make him a terror for defenders, even though he still needs to work on his final product and tactical consistency. He has put up incredible performances this season, particularly at home.
5. Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli statistics for 2024–2025: 51 games, 10 goals, and 5 assists

Martinelli is a Brazilian-accented craziness. blazing speed, enjoys a good brawl, and presses as if fuelled by Red Bull. Even though Trossard has been sharing minutes and his injuries have somewhat slowed him down, defenders still detest watching him charge at them. relentless, two-footed, and a constant threat throughout the game.
4. Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon 2024–25 stats: 42 games, 9 goals, and 6 assists
