The shirt hoarders of our generation are already content, but most fans are eager to see their team play again. Kits are released in small quantities each year in advance of the new season so that fans of all 20 Premier League teams may go out and promptly pick them up.
The practice of buying shirts is growing season after season and is frequently a surefire way to get excitement during the off-season. Naturally, that also includes incomings and outgoings. Because stockpiling shirts as though they’re going out of style is purely subjective, it’s a beautiful pastime.
All 20 home kits have been published ahead of the 2025–26 Premier League season, when Arne Sloth’s Liverpool will try to maintain their title as champions. Is there a better way to quell the ever-increasing enthusiasm than to rank each one from best to worst?
Premier League Home Kits for 2025–2026: 20–16
Sunderland, Brentford, Burnley, West Ham United, and Aston Villa

Given that their home uniform for 2025–2026 is somewhat drab, Burnley, the masters of transfer announcements, are at the other extreme of the spectrum. However, last term’s blue sleeves are no longer a noticeable characteristic. And that’s a good thing.
They haven’t done well with their new home strip at a time when West Ham United fans are begging for anything motivating. Additionally, there is less blue than fans are used to, but that doesn’t mean it’s tidy.

The most recent threads from Brentford mark the team’s 100th anniversary of adopting red and white stripes as its primary colours. They find it difficult to keep up with most of the pace, but it’s not horrible by any means. Among the top flight newcomers was Sunderland.
Although Sunderland’s home strip appears tidy overall, it is a little too concentrated. It pays homage to their city with the “laddering” details inside the white stripes. Although it’s not very striking, Aston Villa’s classic claret and blue shirt is smart and placed 16th.

Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham, Manchester City, Leeds United, and Bournemouth

Leeds United, led by Daniel Farke, is back in the big time and hoping to make a huge impression. With their most recent home kit design, the Whites have made sure to keep things basic, but the tessellating pattern on the collar and cuff pays homage to the tiles of the Lowfields Tunnel, which is located close to Elland Road. A sophisticated touch, nonetheless.
Sashes and Manchester City uniforms go hand in hand; although they are rarely seen on a home uniform, supporters have witnessed many kits throughout the years that feature one from shoulder to hip. The club took a chance with this one, but if it turns out to be successful, it might have been worth it.
Brighton & Hove Albion may have strolled along the shore to unveil their new uniform, but it’s much the same as what fans of Amex Stadium are accustomed to: “American Express” is emblazoned over the stomach and there are blue and white stripes down the front.
Although Bournemouth’s new home uniform makes the gold sponsor stand out, their freshly released strip isn’t very striking. The piping is what makes Fulham stand out, and the contrast between the black and white is classic Craven Cottage. An extremely strong effort.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur has long been chastised for being cautious, but their uniform for the upcoming campaign is appropriate for the Europa League winners. The Londoners have done a great job, although some could argue that it’s too simple, and they would be somewhat correct.
Wolverhampton Wanderers pay homage to their legendary home kits of the past with this premium ribbed collar and cuff. The retro-inspired feature adds a touch of nostalgia. However, there isn’t anything that leaves you speechless.
Since the Hill Dickinson Stadium needs to be christened, everything is changing for Merseyside’s blue side, and Everton’s new era is beginning with a really good shirt. It just adds a personal touch because the River Mersey served as the inspiration for the all-over wavy pattern. It’s elegant!
Manchester United struggled to be exciting as a football team last season, thus they have chosen to stick with tradition for their 2025–26 home uniform. The kit features a scattering of dots and stripes that symbolise the pitch lines, dugouts, and terraces in a subliminal nod to their home field, Old Trafford.
There are times when you simply must stand in complete awe. Liverpool may have been the last team in the Premier League to unveil their new home uniform, but they have definitely made an impression. It is now the players’ responsibility to maintain a positive attitude. There is no pressure.
5-1 Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Newcastle United in the 2025–2026 Premier League home uniforms

For the first time since the 2017–18 season, Nottingham Forest, an immediate winner, has included the pinstripes in their home uniforms. A shield shields the club symbol and adds to the strip’s vintage vibe. I suppose it’s the little things.
Crystal Palace is quite stylish! The capital club’s relationship with Macron is flourishing, and the results are stunning, despite the fact that their place in Europe is in jeopardy. It has stripes that are red and blue, with white accents showing through.
It’s easy to understand why Chelsea was among the first clubs in the top division of England to debut their new uniforms. All lovers may agree that it is sleek, uncomplicated, and has a familiar sense thanks to the tonal graphic of London’s architecture.

You almost want to stand and cheer for Adidas and Arsenal because they are so stunning and beautiful. The club’s “A” emblem, in an antique gothic style, is incorporated into the fabric’s pattern, which is very amazing. In the late 1940s, it was initially incorporated into their club crest.
Newcastle United has dropped a true classic. The Magpies’ recognisable black-and-white stripes stand out because of their jagged edges. It just sticks to what the Tyneside team is famous for, and their home kit is the best at that.
