Jobe played in Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 triumph over Monterrey, which sent the Germans to the Club World Cup quarterfinals.
Fans were irritated at what Jobe Bellingham did during Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 victory over Monterrey on Wednesday.
Jobe, 19, started the Bundesliga team’s 2-1 victory in Atlanta, which advanced them to a tantalizing quarterfinal match against Real Madrid on Saturday.
Serhou Guirrasy scored twice, but Jobe’s night did not go as well as he would have expected.
On the 27th minute, Jobe chased Monterrey’s Nelson Deossa before fouling him and receiving a yellow card.
And that was his second caution of the Club World Cup, therefore he is suspended for the match against Los Blancos, as is his older brother, Jude.
Dortmund head coach Nico Kovac confessed Jobe was “disappointed” to miss out.
“I think we all saw that he [Jobe Bellingham] was very disappointed,” Kovac stated following his team’s triumph.
“I believe he was unaware that a second yellow card resulted in a halftime suspension. He was a little astonished.
“OK, he is young. His sibling is similarly young, so I believe they will play each other in the Champions League next season, and then in the future. The future belongs to them.
“The Club World Cup would have been fantastic, but it isn’t anymore. Someone else must play for him, although it is also OK.”
Fans were also ready to share their comments.
One replied: “The sibling rivalry we were all waiting for is off the table.”

Someone else commented: “Jobe Bellingham had one job to not get a yellow to go against Jude.”
A third party added: “Jobe got the dumbest yellow card ever and now he’s gonna miss the quarters, Jude v Jobe would’ve been cool.”
A fourth explained, “This is our chance to get a matchup of the Bellingham brothers, but Jobe is suspended.”
Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund’s Sporting Director, also explained how he had to “console” the Englishman.
“[Jobe] had been looking forward to competing against his brother; this is a really bitter moment for him. “We need to console him a little,” said Kehl.
“He’s young and so is his brother; I’m certain they’ll face each other again in the the future, maybe even in next season’s Champions League.”
