Liverpool fans beg the club to keep Darwin Nunez after seeing his dramatic new look ahead of summer move away

Liverpool supporters have reacted on social media to Darwin Nunez’s new look.

With the summer transfer market in full swing, Liverpool has been working around the clock to complete deals.

So far, the Premier League champions have signed both Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. They are also close to signing Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez.

After buying three new players, it has been suggested that Liverpool will now focus on selling to acquire finances for future signings.

Defender Jarell Quansah is expected to join Leverkusen, while Nunez, Harvey Elliott, and Andy Robertson remain linked with a move away from Anfield.

Nunez, on the other hand, surprised fans on his birthday by revealing a striking new look.

Instead of keeping his typical long hair, the Uruguayan decided to shave his head, and he showed off his new look by posting a photo with his girlfriend, Lorena Manas.

On social media, one fan commented, “Suddenly I want him to stay.”

Another said, “If we sell him now, it will be a big mistake.”

A third supporter commented, “He needs to stay more than ever now.”

A different individual submitted: “Keep now for sure, no more fixing his hair every 2 minutes…. worked with Trent and his dredds.”

A fifth said, “He will start scoring now lol.”

Another fan replied, “Wait, keep him, he might ball out.”

Nunez only scored seven goals and assisted seven times for Liverpool in 47 games in all competitions during the 24/25 season.

As a result, it has been widely reported that the Reds intend to split ways with the 26-year-old.

Previously associated with teams in Saudi Arabia, it has been speculated that Italian Serie A heavyweights Napoli are now at the top of the list.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer analyst, stated on social media that Napoli and Liverpool will discuss the terms of Darwin Núñez’s transfer.

Although negotiations are still ongoing, Napoli has received approval from Núñez, as reported recently. The deal currently rests on financial requests.”
