Amid the picture of the Gunners’ striker pursuit, Viktor Gyokores gives a three-word clue about Arsenal.
After a brief FaceTime conversation with former teammate Leo Ostigard seemed to hint at his next club, Viktor Gyokeres has reignited rumors about a possible move to Arsenal.
With 54 goals and 13 assists in all competitions, the 26-year-old Sporting CP striker has had an incredible season in Portugal. Arsenal is looking to bolster their attacking options this summer, and he is one of several attackers on their radar.

Ostigard, a defender for Hoffenheim, is heard playfully remarking, “Viktor, great talking to you,” on the Flymodus podcast. When everything is signed and resolved at Arsenal, send me a text.
Gyokeres smiled and said, “No, we’ll see,” in response. No one is aware of anything yet.
The brief but fascinating interaction, “I wish I had a more fun answer, but that’s all I can say for now,” has only fueled speculation about a possible move to north London.
Benjamin Sesko, a forward for RB Leipzig, is still Arsenal’s top target, as Sporting News reported last week. Negotiations are already under way to sign the Slovenian international.
But Gyokeres is also on the shortlist of targets, and a transaction has reportedly been discussed behind closed doors.
Gyokores will only cost £60 million ($81 million) this summer, which is far less than his initial release clause, but Sesko’s price tag might cost up to £75 million ($101 million).
What is Arsenal’s summer spending limit?
Arsenal can spend more than £200 million this summer without worrying about PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) issues because they are the most profitable club in Premier League history. This allows them to pursue high-profile targets in a variety of positions.
Following the Gunners’ agreement to pay the £51 million release clause for the Spain midfielder, Martin Zubimendi’s transfer to Arsenal is anticipated to be finalized in the upcoming weeks.
