Thomas Frank has been connected to the Spurs position, and he will undoubtedly try to improve the Europa League champions’ turbulent 2024–2025 Premier League season by bringing in a number of talented players.
In May, Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final to win their first trophy in 17 years.
Additionally, Ange Postecoglou was fired last week even though he brought silverware to north London, something that Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and Mauricio Pochettino were unable to do.
Since then, a number of Premier League managers have been connected to the position, such as Oliver Glasner of Crystal Palace, Marco Silva of Fulham, and Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth, although Brentford head coach Frank is the front-runner.

Who will Spurs sign and how would they lineup for the upcoming season if he does take on the role of head coach?
Mbeumo Bryan
According to GiveMeSport, Spurs are still interested in perhaps adding Mbeumo to the team despite Man Utd’s strong interest. Given that the two have worked together at Brentford for the previous six years, their position may be enhanced by Frank’s apparent impending arrival. The attacker scored 20 goals in 38 Premier League games and provided seven assists in 2024–2025, his finest season to date.
Eze Eberechi
Spurs are also apparently interested in signing Eze, an England and Crystal Palace player, who has a £60 million release clause and an additional £8 million in add-ons, according to TBR.
The offensive midfielder may be difficult to acquire, though, since he has a contract with Palace through the summer of 2027.
Min-jae Kim
The arrival of Jonathan Tah may cause the Korean defender to leave Bayern Munich this summer.
Kim has reportedly been “offered” to Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Newcastle, according to TBR. However, Spurs may have an advantage because Kim and his international teammate Son Heung-min have played together 57 times and shared a dressing room.

Son stated in an interview with Sports Chosun last summer: “Min-jae Kim is an excellent defender, as I always say. I think it’s a great defense. Globally speaking, I believe he is a player that has a lot to learn going forward.
Bisseck, Yann Aurel
According to Calcio Mercato, Spurs are “pressing hard” to sign the German defender for Inter Milan and may even include Radu Drăgușin in a possible deal.
Aston Villa, West Ham, and Manchester United are reportedly among the other Premier League teams interested in the 24-year-old defender. According to reports, Inter values Bisseck at over £35 million.
Spurs starting lineup predictions: Frank would probably open with a 4-3-3, as he has done for the most of his time at Brentford.
Pedro Porro, Mickey van de Ven, and Destiny Udogie will all play if they are healthy, although Guglielmo Vicario will probably continue to be the starting goalie.
Frank would undoubtedly include Cristian Romero in his plans, but he has been linked to a possible move, which may open the door for Kim to start at center defense.

Alongside the possible signing of Eze and Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Matar Sarr would be a good midfield addition.
Then, when on song, a forward trio consisting of Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke, and Mbeumo might cause some defenses to have sleepless nights.
