England fans have done full 180 on one player picked by Thomas Tuchel in Andorra win

England faced off against Andorra.

England fans have reacted on social media after watching Thomas Tuchel’s team in action.

On Saturday evening, the Three Lions faced Andorra in a 2026 World Cup qualifier at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, Spain.

The match was played in Spain rather than Andorra since the country’s national stadium had just hosted the Games of the Small States of Europe.

Despite being overwhelming favourites, England struggled to break through Andorra’s strong defence.

Tuchel’s side ultimately broke the deadlock in the second half, with captain Harry Kane scoring in the 50th minute.

The visitors pushed for a second goal in the last minutes but were again frustrated.

England eventually won by a close 1-0 margin.

Fans reacted positively on social media to Noni Madueke’s performance, despite the fact that his selection over Jarrod Bowen was criticized when Tuchel first announced his lineup.

The Chelsea player was involved in several England attacks before assisting Kane’s opener.

One admirer commented, “Madueke has been really good, tbf.”

Another person posted on Twitter: “Madueke has looked brilliant for England today, deserves his assist.”

A third fan commented, “Noni Madueke has been England’s most creative player in this game.”

Someone another said, “Big fan of Madueke.”

A fifth said, “Noni Madueke has been the greatest player on the field and the only one who seems likely to create anything from the left wing. “Food for thought.”

Former Manchester City midfielder Michael Brown commented on England’s opening goal on BBC Radio 5 Live: “Finally. Madueke gets involved, and when it returns, he makes it there.

“Kane, once again, is the leader. It’s another goal for him, and he was in the right spot at the right moment.”

The Three Lions will return to action on Tuesday night against Senegal in a friendly at Nottingham’s City Ground.
