The four gorgeous worlds across the front have now been unveiled, and the keen-eyed supporters noticed that manager Luis Enrique had switched T-shirts during the full-time celebration, amid the chaos of Paris Saint-Germain breaking their duck and adding their first-ever Champions League trophy to their bloated cabinet.
Three 2025 Ballon d’Or hopefuls, Achraf Hakimi, Kvhicha Kvaratskhelia, and Desire Doue, all scored goals as the Ligue 1 powerhouses put on a five-star show against the Italians. Senny Mayulu, 19, also did so two minutes after joining the battle.
Naturally, there were wild celebrations after the game. After PSG defeated Inter Milan 5-0 to win their first-ever Champions League, both supporters and fans were overcome with emotion. However, Enrique’s tribute to his late daughter was the night’s most moving act.
Enrique’s Emotional Post-Match Gesture
Spaniard paid tribute to his late daughter, Xana, who died aged nine

Enrique, a Gijon native and one of the greatest football managers in the world, announced ahead of the main event that he will honor his late daughter, Xana, who passed away from bone cancer in 2019 at the young age of nine.
According to the Metro, he remarked, “I have amazing memories because my daughter loved parties, and I’m sure she’s still throwing them wherever she is.” He continued, “I have an amazing photo with her at the Champions League final in Berlin, after winning the Champions League, planting an FC Barcelona flag on the pitch.”
“With PSG, I hope to be able to accomplish the same. Although my kid won’t be physically present, I really value the fact that she will be there spiritually. I’m inspired to keep living my life to the fullest and sharing it with my loved ones.
At the same age, Xana and her family received the devastating news that she had osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. As a result, Enrique, who was in control of the Spanish national team, resigned.
And following the Spanish team’s convincing victory over Serie A team Inter Milan, Enrique changed into a black T-shirt with a cartoon depicting him and his daughter holding hands with his father while he swished a large flag over her head.
The cartoon, which showed Xana carrying the Catalan flag following Enrique’s Barcelona team’s 3-1 victory against Juventus in the Champions League final ten years prior, has four phrases underneath it that, when translated into English, meant:
“We are the winners!”
Given that football is a game of ups and downs, Enrique said he feels his daughter’s spirit more when she wins and his team, frequently in an unusual turn of events, experiences defeat. He stated in his interview with TNT Sports following the game:
“I can remember my daughter without winning the Champions League. Even when we lose, my daughter is constantly at our side. My family is enjoying everything, trying to obtain the good even in the hard moments.”

In honor of their late daughter, Enrique and his wife, Elena Cullell, have also established a charity called Fundaction Xana. Its mission is to “work with commitment, rigor, and sensitivity to support families affected by their child’s illness,” according to its website.
