Although defender Achraf Hakimi, the inevitable Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and young Senny Mayulu all contributed to the goals, Doue, who was born in 2005, was the star of the show at the Allianz Arena with two goals and one assist.

In fact, he became just the 17th player in football history to be given a 10/10 L’Equipe rating. The 2005-born star had his best season to date in the 2024–25 campaign alone, scoring 15 goals and dishing out 14 assists across all competitions, or 54 appearances. Given his young age, he is only going to get better.

His countryman Ousmane Dembele found him with a looping ball as he reached the back stick. Admired as one of the top young football players in the world, Doue maintained composure and avoided Yann Sommer’s efforts with a deflected shot.
Vitinha slipped Doue in, stealing his second of the evening and the one that made him famous in football legends. Alessandro Bastoni of Inter Milan applied a lot of pressure, and the young player’s right-footed strike slid into the bottom corner.
