New footage shows Phil Foden’s immediate reaction to Man Utd fans’ vile chant about his mum

During the Manchester derby that took place on Sunday, there is new evidence that has surfaced showing Manchester United supporters screaming terrible insults about Phil Foden’s mother.

In the course of the match between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford, which ended in a scoreless draw, Foden, who is 24 years old, was treated to disrespectful shouts from sections of the home crowd.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of City, issued a statement condemning the chanting after the game, stating, “Lack of class.” You do realise that it is not United that is the problem, do you? For those of us who are involved in international football, particularly managers, owners, and football players, we are always exposed to the screen.

“Honestly, I don’t understand the mind of the people involving the mum of Phil, it’s a lack of integrity and class, and they should be ashamed…”

In his post-match social media post, Foden did not reference the events that occurred during the match.

On Monday, Troy Deeney provided an intriguing perspective on the matter, elaborating on how he believes the problem has become a “bigger story than it needs to be.”

“It’s been made a bigger story because Pep’s brought it to everyone’s attention,” the former Watford captain disclosed in an interview with talkSPORT. “Pep’s brought it to everyone’s attention.”

“As I was watching the game, I was well aware of it. The unpleasant reality of this football game is that we did not accomplish anything on Match of the Day. This is the nasty side of the game.

Gianfranco Zola shared with me an ancient proverb that he had heard many, many years ago. It was something along the lines of, “We are paid to have no feelings.”

Mohsin.d10 has just produced fresh film of the event, which purports to show Foden’s quick reaction to the chanting when he was standing in the penalty area. This tape was made available to the public this week.

In a comical turn of events, the England star seems to clap the United supporters before raising his hands in what appears to be an attempt to control the supporters who were verbally attacking him.

In recent months, Foden has had a difficult time regaining the form he had during the previous season. As a result, he has received a great deal of criticism for his performances for both England and City.

During the 2023–24 season, the 24-year-old was one of City’s brightest stars, as he recorded 27 goals and 13 assists in 53 games. This is in contrast to the current season, when he has only 10 goals and six assists.

Additionally, Guardiola acknowledged the player’s recent performances during his news conference that took place after the match.

“Phil, there is no doubt; I see every training the passion, the smile on his face,” he further stated. What I am looking for is this… Obviously, the influence has not been. However, Phil is not the only one affected. If you look at the stats from the previous four, five, or six years, you will see that a lot of players are here in terms of goals and assists. However, this season, we dropped a lot of goals and assists, and not just one, but all of them (not just one). It is because of this that we are having difficulty creating or winning, yet the quality is there.

“Sometimes in a long career you have seasons you are not – maybe last season he arrived at the peak in terms of the best player in the Premier League, he won the Premier League in the last games and his impact was incredible – and he will be back.”
