UEFA make decision on banning four Real Madrid stars for Arsenal clash

The findings of an inquiry conducted by UEFA have been disclosed to four Real Madrid players in advance of the Champions League quarterfinal first-leg match against Arsenal, which will take place on next Tuesday.

Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Dani Ceballos are the players who are being investigated for allegedly making gestures towards home fans during and after Real Madrid’s victory against Atletico Madrid in a penalty shootout a month ago.

Concerns were raised over the possibility that some or maybe all of the players indicated above would be barred from participating in the match versus Arsenal.

At this point, all four of them are aware of the outcome of the inquiry. Rudiger, Mbappe, Vini Jr., and Ceballos have all escaped suspensions and will be available for selection, despite the fact that Rudiger has been fined €40,000. This is unfortunate for Mikel Arteta and his team.

“Following the investigation of a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector, disciplinary proceedings were opened against the following Real Madrid CF players: Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappé, and Daniel Ceballos Fernández for potentially violating the basic rules of decent conduct (Article 11(2)(b) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations,” declared a statement issued by the European Union Football Association (UEFA).

In the case of Vinícius Júnior, a player for Real Madrid CF, there were no disciplinary actions initiated against him.

The Control, Ethics, and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) of UEFA has made the following decisions: to fine Real Madrid CF player Antonio Rudiger a total of forty thousand euros and to suspend him for a total of one (1) UEFA club competition match for which he would have been eligible otherwise for violating the fundamental rules of decent conduct. The aforementioned suspension is not immediately imposed and is also subject to a probationary term of one (1) year, beginning from the date of the decision that is now being made.

“To fine Mr. Kylian Mbappé, a player for Real Madrid CF, €30,000 and to suspend him for a total of one (1) UEFA club competition match for which he would otherwise be eligible for violating the fundamental rules of decent conduct,” the court said. The aforementioned suspension is not immediately imposed and is also subject to a probationary term of one (1) year, beginning from the date of the decision that is now being made. A punishment of twenty thousand euros is to be imposed on Daniel Ceballos Fernández, a player for Real Madrid CF, for breaking the fundamental norms of decent conduct.

After receiving a number of yellow cards, the French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has been suspended from the Premier League team. However, there are a few reasons to be optimistic about the situation for the Premier League team.

On the other hand, goalie Thibaut Courtois could not be able to participate because of worries surrounding his physical health.
