‘It’s difficult’ – Gabriel Magalhaes’ wife reacts to Arsenal star’s bombshell injury news live on air

In addition to adding to Arsenal’s ever-growing injury issue, the defender Gabriel Magalhaes has been ruled out for the remainder of the season on account of his injury.

After suffering a hamstring injury early on in his team’s recent 2-1 victory over Fulham at the Emirates Stadium, the centre defender for the Gunners will need to undergo surgery to repair the injury.

In a statement released by the club, the north Londoners said that the Brazilian player is now scheduled to have surgery in the next days. This will cruelly prevent him from participating in the forthcoming Champions League match against Real Madrid and other matches in the future.

Due to knocks sustained during the match against the Cottagers, both the star player for Arsenal and the right-back Jurrien Timber were forced to be substituted.

Following in the footsteps of fellow defenders Riccardo Calafiori, Ben White, and Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel is now unable to participate in the game.

The shocking information was revealed as his wife Gabrielle Figueiredo was participating in a conversation on the Hawksbee and Baker show on talkSPORT.

The purpose of Figueiredo’s appearance on the show was to promote the forthcoming second season of the documentary series “Married to the Game,” which provides viewers with an inside look into the lives of the happy couple.

When she was talking about her husband’s disability, however, she was unable to conceal the misery that she felt for him at the moment.

“We don’t know exactly what it is, but we know that it’s serious,” she added. “We want to be thorough.”

We have high hopes that it will only be a few weeks until he returns to the team, and that he will be stronger than ever for the upcoming season.

“Let’s put it this way: I try to be the reassurance that he requires, and I try to be everything that he requires, including a place to live, mental health, physical health, and everything else.

“And we hope that he will recover quickly.”

Figueiredo said, “Yeah, probably,” when he was informed by co-host Paul Hawksbee that Gabriel will require surgery in the near future. It is not easy here.

When it comes to injuries, this is not the first time he has been hurt. There has not been a single injury that he has sustained in the past two years.

Immediately following quipping: “I hope that we will be having a good time together as a family at home and just not eating four things!”

Upon being questioned about the activities that her companion, who is 27 years old, will be engaging in, Figueiredo responded by saying, “He loves to play Call of Duty, so he will be there all day.”

on spite of the fact that Gabriel will be recuperating and resting at home, the absence of his presence on the Arsenal backline will significantly be felt.

Gabriel has missed only seven Premier League matches over the course of the past four years, during which time he has established a powerful partnership at the back with William Saliba.

Over the course of the past three seasons, he has established himself as one of the most outstanding defenders in the top-ten.

In addition, he has been a significant contributor to the fact that Arsenal has allowed the fewest goals in the division this season, a feat that the club accomplished in the previous season as well.

Not only will Arsenal miss his defensive abilities, but they will also miss the threat he represents from set pieces.

Over the course of this season, he has scored five goals, and since moving from Lille in 2020, he has scored twenty goals across all competitions. He has also scored five goals this season.

Arsenal is anticipated to initiate contract negotiation talks with the player in the near future. The player’s current contract provides him with two years of remaining time.

Additionally, they will be praying that they are able to reach a compromise with Gabriel, who is rumoured to be on Al Nassr’s radar in preparation for a possible summer acquisition.
