Liverpool fans think they’ve spotted what one Liverpool player ‘said’ to Trent Alexander-Arnold immediately after Everton win

The fans believe that they have a clear understanding of what one Liverpool player’said’ to Trent Alexander-Arnold after the great victory that Liverpool achieved against Everton.

With a 1-0 victory over Everton on Wednesday, Liverpool moved 12 points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League rankings. Arsenal is currently in second place.

The sole goal of the match was scored by Diogo Jota, who put the ball past Jordan Pickford in the 57th minute. David Moyes expressed his displeasure with the decision to allow the goal to stand.

Without their first-choice right-back Alexander-Arnold, the Reds were able to score a victory and earn bragging rights over their rivals from across town. Alexander-Arnold was unable to participate in the match due to an injury he incurred against Paris Saint-Germain back in the previous month.

Due to the fact that Conor Bradley was also unable to play, Arne Slot decided to use Curtis Jones, who had previously been used in the midfield position, at right back.

In defence, Jones turned in an outstanding effort, which contributed to his team’s ability to maintain a clean sheet.

Alexander-Arnold, who was there at Anfield despite his injuries, gave the 24-year-old a loving embrace as the result was announced. Alexander-Arnold was present at the grounds.

And without delay, Alexander-Arnold proceeded to Jones, who was engaged in a chat with his fellow Scouser.

Prior to the 26-year-old bursting out laughing, it was possible to observe them engaging in conversation.

Fans are under the impression that Jones conveyed to Alexander-Arnold that he is “taking his position” in light of the possible transfer of the Liverpool star to Real Madrid.

One of the X users wrote: “I bet Curtis said ‘I’m taking your position’ and they both start laughing.”

“You could tell he was super invested in Curtis’ performance,” a second tweet commented on the situation.

A third individual commented: “That’s his PR telling him to do all that, his head is gone long time back.”

The summer of this year marks the expiration of Alexander-Arnold’s contract, and it appears that he is very close to joining Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Having graduated from Liverpool’s youth program, he has spent his whole career playing for the club from the very beginning.

Despite the fact that Alexander-Arnold has participated in 349 matches across all competitions, it looks that this season will be his final one wearing a Liverpool shirt.
